Hi all,

A major firmware upgrade is available for this installation: 19.1.r1
Make sure you have read the release notes and migration guide before
attempting this upgrade. Around 400MB will need to be downloaded and
require 800MB of free space. Continue with this major upgrade by
typing the major upgrade version number displayed above.
Minor updates may be available, answer 'y' to run them instead.
Proceed with this action? [19.1.r1/y/N]: 19.1.r1
Fetching packages-19.1.r1-OpenSSL-amd64.tar: .. failed, no signature found
...the same thing about web interface (Unlocking the base and kernel lock does not work via webinterface either)?
cheers till
Not sure what you are trying to do. 19.1-RC1 / 19.1.r1 will be available once it's announced which is 1-2 days away from today.
Cheers,
Franco
Hi Franco,
the procedure was this (Dev):
19.1.b_492 >>> 19.1.r_34 >>> (unlock modal) >>> 19.1.r1
cheers till
19.1.r1 is not released yet, when it is then the update will work.
If you like the road to the update has been built but currently goes nowhere.
Hi guys i am already on OPNsense 19.1-amd64
but it am getting thise error " Fetching packages-19.1.r1-OpenSSL-amd64.tar: .. failed, no signature found"
i know this related to etc/update/firmware but on the file i have no version there.
any suggestion which version i need on the firmware in order to get this fixed ?
Discussed on IRC with Julien and it's solved now. The solution was to remove two stale files:
# rm /usr/local/opnsense/firmware-upgrade /usr/local/opnsense/firmware-message
Cheers,
Franco
