Thanks, works great here. Also gave it a quick spin with 22.1, no apparent problems.
As it’s not mentioned for 1.11, is L3 multicore support delayed or off the table?

Hi there, please can I have some assistance changing over to the new repo that is compatible with 22.1? Whenever I check for firmware & package updates I'm always met with "Could not find the repository on the selected mirror."
Thanks.

You are not on the latest OPNsense, you need to upgrade to RC first

As mentioned elsewhere it looks like a partial upgrade, it should not want "21.7" folder so the core package failed to install (probably because of some conflict between installed packages from third party mirrors).
Cheers,
Franco

Hi @athurdent,
Please try again by removing os-sunnyvalley package then re-installing it.
-
Yes it was mentioned in the other thread. It's just an issue with the trampoline upgrade through the beta since we don't have stable packages in this one and thus os-sunnyvalley is not reinstalled when it should have. Upgrading from upcoming 21.7.8 to 22.1.r1 and onward will not be an issue.
Cheers,
Franco

Hi @sy, as stated before my test setup worked perfectly fine, I re-installed the package when temporarily upgrading & testing the OPNsense RC for an hour.
Or was your comment about L3 multicore support, and that will be possible when re-installing os-sunnyvalley? I'd upgrade my VM again in that case and give it another spin.
Thanks!

Hi @athurdent,
Sorry for the wrong mention. This is the answer for @Andy112.

Hi @athurdent, thanks for asking. For now, team needed to revert to working on a netmap project. We'll get back to L3 multicore support.

Hi @mb, awesome, thank you for the update! Development plans change, that's life. Enjoying my great Zenarmor setup here every day. :)

Is anyone else having an issue with Mellanox ConnectX-3? If I enable Zenarmor it puts the Mellanox into emulated mode in Netmap, which brings down my LAN uplink to OPNsense.
-
Hi,
It seems a netmap issue. Did you try Zenarmor in bypass mode that if it is still crashing or not?
