Just want to report an odd behaviour. I disabled ASPM and had no dropouts since then, but right after the system rebooted from the 24.1.8 update, I could not access it anymore and had to replug the cable.
No, this depends on how the network ports are wired to the IOMMU groups etc. Only by installing and booting Proxmox and simply trying can your question be answered.

After running ping and trace route from the Opnsense box to the various TP-link access points, and through them to two different cell phones, suddenly all of the TP link AP's show up in the ARP table along with the both cell phones. And now one cell phone can access the internet over wifi and the other cannot (both iphones, both configured identically).

The other odd behavior with 24.1.8 is the extracting hung on extracting net-snmp for over 10 minutes. During which the webui was completely unresponsive on other tabs. It finally did extract and finished update.

Any suggestions what is going on with unbound? I've attempted upgrade twice, same issue. I've since restored backup of 24.1.6. Thanks
I decided to do like I said I would do and modified the db myself and that seem to have worked. It should however probably be changed so that Opnsense automatically adds new interfaces to the db file
