Title: Question about API Development (OpenVPN, CA, IP)
Post by: Hanimiyo on July 26, 2021, 01:58:29 pm
Hello, hope im right here.

I search for a solution to config OpenVPN (1000+ connections), certificates and IP (static) over API,
Found in the API documentation,

OpenVPN, in the core API but only Export.
WireGuard „all what needed“ but WireGuard and FreeBSD with an eye on PfSense/?freeBsd?, is unsecure ? (+ Not all Clients Support wireGuard)

certificates = ??
IP = ??

Is in the near Future anything in this direction planed ? Maybe a roadmap from opnsense what will come ?

Kind regards
Simon

Nothing planned yet, sounds more like a sponsored feature request.

What does this mean? PfSense with the help of FreeBSD revoked their implementation in the base system and now everyone uses the fork by WireGuard developers as an external kernel module. That includes pfSense and OPNsense alike except that OPNsense never used the revoked implementation.

Way2:

Where is to contact for this Kind of request in the OPNsense univers ?
