Since we are in the english part of the forum I will continue in English. Wireguard is part of OPNsense - in your system as well as in any fresh installation - now.
To resolve the plugin flagged as missing got to System > Firmware > ... and then it's "resolve local conflicts" or some such. I cannot look it up, because the option is only visible of you actually have conflicts.
Hello i have a mini network appliance running proxmox and inside it opnsense as a vm. My question is shall i pcie passthriugh and if yes is it possible to passthriugh only one port and how?
Just updated to 24.1.8. After that, the Wireguard plugin was no longer installable. It was still displayed under Plugins but in red. On the status page I was then able to repair defective dependencies. As a result, there is no longer any Wireguard under Plugins. However, Wireguard itself is still available under VPN and apparently it continues to run without any problems. Is the Wireguard plugin simply not yet released for 24.1.8 and I just have to wait a bit until it is displayed again. Or have I missed something?

> Shouldnt it just access the opnsense and the opnsense tries to resolve over Outbound NAT the dns servers of my cloud provider and ping back the resolution of this to the server on the lan? Yes, if it behaved as it should and sounds like it does for the OS. What you might be seeing is apps with hardcoded with other servers. What to do: use firewall rules to force them into compliance

Hi,
apps are usually very generic in their error messages. This might be a DNS problem, a blocked IP, IPv6 requirements, etc. And as you said: It could also be non-networking related.
I'd check the traffic on OPNsense for unmatched expectations. Which DNS come in? Are there packets blocked when starting the app?
Besten Dank für die Hilfe. Hat soweit funktioniert. Allerdings bedarf es im Weiteren noch so vieler Einstellungen, dass ich doch einen Support Fall bei Deciso eröffnet habe.
