installation via serial port

iam intalling the latest downloadable version via serial console.
tried both the dvd and the serial image
=it just show a / sign after th opnsense logo..pls see attached file

any thoughts will be appreciated

Hi ozlecz,

there goes something wrong while loading os kernel. What kind of hardware you're using ?

Some people have had this issue due to weak serial cabling. Replacing the cable usually fixed it...

Hi,
I have the same issue as shown in the picture -> I can start in live mode but have no option to install.
... I can not believe that this is a cable issue???

ok, I reply myself... after live boot you have to login as user installer with password opnsense ..
