Failed to Upgrade from OPNsense 18.7.10_4-amd64

Getting persistenly this error while attempting to update automatically via web gui or console:

!!!!!!!!!!!! ATTENTION !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
! A critical upgrade is in progress. !
! Please do not turn off the system. !
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Version number mismatch, aborting.
    Kernel: 11.1
    Base:   11.2

Any help would be appreciated.

The kernel update failed, so the upgrade is aborted. This is strange. What happens when you run the kernel update manually?

# opnsense-update -kr 19.1
# opnsense-shell reboot

[...]

# uname -a

If it shows "11.2-RELEASE" you can run the rest of the upgrade safely.

It *might* be that your install disk or file system is damaged and you will see other problems going forward. If that is the case you should reinstall 19.1 cleanly with a config export and make sure you replace the storage that you install OPNsense on to make sure the issue doesn't come back...
