Creating a Certificate Signing Request under 18.1 yields empty .crt files
« on: February 01, 2018, 10:38:30 pm »
Is the process of creation of a CSR for submission to a CA authority supposed to create blank files?  Only one file (the .key) had any information in it despite several attempts.  This issue is found under 18.1_1

A little late to the party, I'm having the same issue on 18.1.7, it definitely shouldn't be a blank file.

Generating Cert Signing Request produces a blank .crt
« Reply #2 on: May 14, 2018, 02:25:57 pm »
I've attempted this 4 times now, generating any CSR will produce a 0kb blank .crt file. Private key is generated just fine.

Would you mind creating a ticket over at https://github.com/opnsense/core/issues with steps to reproduce?

Thanks,
