Multi WAN with local connections like Webadmin or IPSEC
« on: September 11, 2017, 04:43:41 pm »
Hi,

I know the logic of gateway group and pf, but what about making local services redundant?
If I have 2 WANs with static IPs I set one gateway as default, the other is just monitored.

My understanding would be to setup a gateway group, make WAN2 as Tier2 and when e.g. link of WAN goes down, default gateway is removed and the gateway of WAN2 is added as default gateway. Instead if I do this the firewall doesn't have any default gateway.

Any ideas?

Thanks!
