Newbie here, help needed (PPPOE - Multiple public)
« on: March 13, 2017, 02:00:33 pm »
Hello,
I'm new to opnsense and I'd like an advice if possible.
I've by my ISP a block of 8 public IPs (among which 5 are usable).
Currently, they'are assigned directly on the router with Port Forwarding to different servers.
I would like to have opnsense in between and manage everything from there.
According to the manual of the router, I can put in in PPPoE mode and thus use it as a bridge. I've tried to set that up in opnsense and it works of (I see PPPoE being "online")
What I can't seem to figure out is how to configure my IPs in opnsense so I can do Port Forward to my servers.
Do I need virtual IPs ? I've a /29 block (Let's say i.e. 172.16.75.96/29 (97 being the router, 98-102 usable and 103 the broadcast)
Can someone please help me out ?
Thanks a million in advance,
Nick

Hi Nick use 1:1 NAT from a public IP in your static range to an internal host IP/32. Firewall: NAT: One-to-One
