[SOLVED] NanoBSD Upgrade - pkg: write(): No space left on device
« on: August 04, 2016, 08:35:11 pm »
While attempting to upgrade from 16.7.RC1 to 16.7.1 the following error is appearing:

pkg: write(): No space left on device

I've corrected this issue creating a symbolic link from /var/cache/pkg to /root/var/cache/pkg

Hi there,

We've just discussed this on GitHub, was fixed in 16.7-RC2 :)

https://github.com/opnsense/core/issues/1114

The funny thing was that we needed pkg 1.8 because the older versions were not capable of using /var/cache/pkg as a symlink... Original bug here:

https://github.com/freebsd/pkg/issues/1424

Cheers,
Franco
